The conditions of the affiliation to the Iraqi doctors union

* The doctor who got his certification from one of the Iraqis medicines’ colleges:

1- Presenting an approving paper from the medicine college which he graduated from.
2- Iraqi identity certification.
3- Five new personal photos.
4- Fill the affiliation request form and update and record all the information and the attached files.
5- Paying the guarantee tax.
6- Paying the affiliation tax and the union identity and pay the mural fees if he asked for a mural.

* The Iraqi doctor who got his certification from outside the country:

 1- The certification should be equalized from the ministry of higher education and scientific research (expeditions and cultural relationships department).
2- Presenting an evaluation of the depended certification from the ministry of higher education and scientific research (expeditions and cultural relationships department).
3- Presenting the original copies of the required documents.
4- Iraqi identity certification.
5- Five new personal photos.
6- Paying the affiliation tax and the union identity and pay the mural fees if he asked for a mural.

* The Palestinian doctor who lives in Iraq is treated as the Iraqi doctor but he should present the identity of the Arab people concerns.
* The Arabic and foreign doctors:

1- We will accept the affiliation of the Arabic and foreign doctors who are prevented from practicing their jobs because of the   misuse of them before in their countries.
2- We will accept the affiliation of the Arabic and foreign doctors who joined one of the national sides in the country or the foreign sides who work in Iraq but they should practice their jobs within the limits of their works.
  

The conditions of getting the specialty surname:

1- The doctor should have the certification of the Iraqi council of the medical specializations and the certification of the Arabic council of the medical specializations. These two certifications will be gotten when the doctor will be graduated.

2- The doctor should have the professional certification from the expeditions department in the ministry of higher education and scientific researches, because it is the highest professional certification in the specialization field. The doctor will get this certification after one year of practicing his job in the country, and if he practiced his job outside the country the Iraqi council of the medical specializations will evaluate this practicing.
 
3- The doctors who got the (master and PhD degrees) will not be able to have the specialization surname unless they had the highest certification in the (clinical specialization) with at least four years. Or they can get the specialization after passing the final examinations of the specializations students in the Iraqi council of the medical specializations. They should pass the written and clinical and labial examinations, these examinations are made each six months.

4- Those who got the higher professional diploma certifications and the professional diploma certifications from outside the country will have the specialization surname after four years of the professional practicing after getting this certification. And they should pass the final examinations of the specializations students in the Iraqi council of the medical specializations. They should pass also the written and clinical and labial examinations, these examinations are made each six months.   
     

The conditions of getting the well behavior letter:

1- Updating the annual practicing:

* The updating inside the country will be in Baghdad branch or in the union’s branches in the Iraqi governorates.
* The updating outside the country will be in the general residency of the union, and the updating tax is (50 dollar annually). It will depend on the last seal on the Iraqi passport of leaving the country, and the payment will be in the general residency of the union.

2- Fill the special form of the required information that is related to the doctor.

1- The tax amount of those who are inside the country is 15 thousand Iraqi Dinnar and the payment will be in the general residency of the union.
 
2- The tax amount of those who are outside the country is 30 thousand Iraqi Dinnar and the payment will be in the general residency of the union.

3- The specialization of the doctor will be affirmed in the letter, if he got the specialization surname from the Iraqi council of the medical specializations.
